MSU EcoCAR MSU ecoCar team will display the winning Challenge X car, and pass information about hybrid vehicle designs, alternative fuel, and importance of energy conservation. more about EcoCAR
Starkville Area Habitat for Humanity Habitat for Humanity will provide information about their work in the community and how students can get involved. more about Habitat
Barnes & Noble Bookstore at MSU The Barnes & Noble Bookstore will bring merchandise that is made of recycled materials. more about bookstore booth
Sierra Club/Golden Triangle Sierra Club "Saving your health and the environment": easy-to-avoid common toxins in everyday products (antibacterial soap, acrylamide-containing spray-on sunblock and hand sanitizers, styrofoam). Bottled water vs. filter-pitcher w/data on regulations for municipal sources (bottled) as opposed to requirements for filters. more about Sierra Club booth
Starkville Science Club The club will be promoting environmental education for youth. They will also be sharing some information on the Club and their land stewardship projects.
Starkville in Motion SIM will have a display about the Lynn Lane multipurpose path and information about organization.
Nucor Steel Jackson Nucor is a very outspoken recycling company that has a mill in Mississippi. They will display to the students how they can become a part of big industry and still be environmental stewards in the communities where they live and work. They will have a booth with displays and facts about steel recycling and some of what individuals can do to help their communities both environmentally and economically through steel recycling efforts.
Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences They will promote recycling, and collect used ink cartridges and old/used cell phones for recycling.
T.K. Martin Center Recycling assistive technology, accepting technology donations to be refurbished and reissued.
Starkville Electric Dept & TVA Promoting TVA's Renewable Energy Initiatives: Green Power Switch & Generation Partners. Also plan to promote TVA energy right Home e-Valuation

Department of Geosciences The Department of Geosciences will present information on their GIS, Geology, Meteorology, and Geography programs of study. Additionally, the North American Collegiate Weather Forecasting Competition was recently won by their MSU Forecasting Team! The team will be at the booth and welcomes everyone to stop by.
